TROA FUNDS EXCLUSIVE OWNERS AREAS IN COUNTRY
TROA are delighted to provide funding support to feature Country Victoria race meetings for the 2019-2020 racing season.
TROA is providing funding support to provide TROA exclusive owners areas to all owners with a runner engaged at the following race meetings:
- Cranbourne Cup Carnival – 11th & 13th October 2019
- Geelong Cup – 23rd October 2019
- Pakenham Cup – 7 December 2019
- Bendigo Golden Mile – 28 March 2020
- Warrnambool Cup Carnival – 5th, 6th, 7th May 2020
TROA understand the importance of owners having an enjoyable experience on at the races when your horse is engaged to compete. TROA, with the Victorian regional race clubs encourage owner participation and attendance when your horse is racing in regional Victoria.
TROA have continued to invest in regional race club initiatives for owners, which will be rolled out throughout the 2019-2020 racing season. Together with the race clubs, we will provide owners with an enhanced raceday experience, at a selection of feature race meetings across regional Victoria.
TROA Owners Marquee at the Cranbourne Cup Carnival
Friday (night) 11 October & Sunday 13 October 2019
Racehorse owners and their guest, with a runner on Cranbourne Cup Day (Sunday 13 October) and the Pinker Pinker Plate night meeting (Friday 11 October) will gain access to the exclusive TROA Owners marquee, compliments of TROA and the Cranbourne Turf Club.
The TROA Owners Marquee is an exclusive area for owners with a runner over the TAB Cranbourne Cup Carnival. Owners and their guest will gain access to the racecourse with an owners lanyard to be collected from the front ticket box. Conveniently located on the lawn, between the horse stalls and mounting yard, owners can enjoy complimentary finger food, private tote facilities, tea and coffee in a fully furnished marquee.

- Access to the area for the entire race meeting

TROA Owners Mounting Yard Bar at the bet365 Geelong Cup

Owners with a runner engaged on bet365 Geelong Cup Day will have access to the exclusive Mounting Yard Bar with their guests and receive a gourmet lunchbox compliments of TROA and the Geelong Racing Club. This bar is ideally located in front of the Mounting Yard and allows owners easy access to food, beverages, barista coffee, TAB facilities, toilets and constant race replays.

Geelong Racing Club is offering owners with a runner on Geelong Cup Day to make a day of it, with the opportunity to book into one of the exclusive hospitality areas available.
Enjoy a delicious lunch and beverage package in the Silks Dining Room for $245, a special offer for owners with runners on the day. The Silks Dining Room offers a birdseye view of the track with everything you could possibly need to have a wonderful Cup Day (sorry we cannot organise your horse to win though!) or you are welcome to hang out in the Mounting Yard Bar and enjoy a complimentary gourmet lunch box proudly sponsored by TROA.

TROA Owners Lounge at the Sportsbet Pakenham Cup

Owners are invited to the TROA Owners Lounge to enjoy all the excitement of Pakenham Cup Day.
Supported by TROA you will be treated to a complimentary burger voucher and enjoy a complimentary drink to further celebrate having a runner on Pakenham Cup Day.
Upon admission to the course you’ll receive your racebook, drink voucher and food voucher. The Sneaky Cheese Food Truck will be located just outside the Mounting Yard, below the Owner’s Lounge.
The Owner’s Lounge, located within the Event Centre will be available from 11.00am, with race replays, complimentary tea and coffee and complimentary sandwiches following each race.
You’ll also have access to the Owners Deck with additional seating, alongside further seating in the Mounting Yard to get closer to your horse on the day.

Bendigo is home to the Golden Mile Race Day, Saturday 28 March 2020, with prize money exceeding $1 million. TROA are proud to announce our continued partnership with Golden Mile Raceday in its eighth year.
World-class racing, entertainment, leafy bushland surrounds, fine dining, fashion and more make the Golden Mile Race Day an unforgettable experience for racehorse owners, in particular those lucky enough to have a horse competing for the $1 million in prizemoney on offer.
TROA’s partnership with the Golden Mile Raceday provides for an exclusive area for Owners with a Runner on Golden Mile Raceday, with complimentary hospitality.
TROA Owners Room inclusions:
- Owner and guest ticketing, racebook, drink voucher will be issued upon arrival at the course
- Owner’s (and guests) with a runner will again be provided with exclusive use of the TROA Owners Room on raceday, located in the Sailor’s Guide Room.
- The Sailor’s Guide Room is conveniently located at the rear of the Heritage Grandstand and is only a short walk to the Betting Ring and racecourse viewing areas.
- TAB facilities will be provided directly outside of the TROA Owner’s Room
- TV’s within the room will be enable Owner’s to view the Bendigo Race Replays, Racing.com and SKY footage which will display all the Group 1 action from Rosehill Gardens
- Access to the area for the entire race meeting
- Between 12.30-2.30pm Owner’s will be able to enjoy a complimentary offering during the lunch period
