Bendigo is home to the Golden Mile Race Day, Saturday 1st April 2017, which dominates Victoria’s sporting calendar as one of its premier events, with prize money exceeding $1 million. TROA are proud to announce our continued partnership with Golden Mile Raceday in it’s fifth year.
World-class racing, entertainment, leafy bushland surrounds, fine dining, fashion and more make the Golden Mile Race Day an unforgettable experience for racehorse owners, in particular those lucky enough to have a horse competing for the $1 million in prizemoney on offer.
TROA’s partnership with the Golden Mile Raceday provides for an exclusive area for Owners with a Runner on Golden Mile Raceday, with complimentary hospitality. Owners with an Owners Gold Card who do not have a runner will also be provided with an exclusive area and complimentary gourmet hot dog.
OWNER’S WITH A RUNNER
Owner’s (and guests) with a runner will again be provided with exclusive use of the TROA Owners Room on raceday, located in the Sailor’s Guide Room.
The Sailor’s Guide Room is conveniently located at the rear of the Heritage Grandstand and is only a short walk to the Betting Ring and racecourse viewing areas.
TAB facilities will be provided directly outside of the TROA Owner’s Room and three TV’s within the room will be enable Owner’s to view the Race Replay, Racing.com and SKY footage which will display Day 1 of the ATC Championships featuring the Derby and Doncaster.
Between 12.30-2.30pm Owner’s will be able to enjoy a complimentary offering during the lunch period. There will be a choice of three dishes to be served from the buffet being Potato Gnocchi, Chicken Cassoulet and Steamed Rice.
These dishes will be served in plastic bowls with plastic utensils to enable them to be taken outside
Complimentary sandwiches and hot savouries will be served on the Tea & Coffee buffet from 2.30pm
Owner’s will be able to redeem their complimentary beverage within the TROA Owners Room (Sailor’s Guide Room) and additional beverages can also be purchased at bar prices.
OWNER’S WITHOUT A RUNNER
TROA Members and Owner’s Gold Card (OGC) holders without a runner on the day will have exclusive access to The Terrace enclosure situated in front of the Heritage Grandstand in close proximity to the Sailor’s Guide Room.
The Terrace offers premium racecourse and Mounting Yard viewing on stylish polished concrete flooring. Market umbrellas, tables, chairs and a complimentary hot dog & condiments will be available to TROA Members/Owners Gold Card holders between 12.30-2.30pm.
