Owners Event - High Tea at Melbourne International 3 Day Event

Melbourne International 3 Day Event in conjunction with the National Jockeys Trust presents:

The Gallopers High Tea

Ladies and Gentleman, prepare yourself for a winters’ noon of decadence at the inaugural 2013 Gallopers High Tea.

Racing Victoria, together with Equestrian Victoria have partnered up to promote responsible retirement of racehorses, and the promotion of retired racehorses as equestrian partners. The Gallopers High Tea offers a stylish synergy for thoroughbred racehorse owners to enjoy horses in the‘off’season, learn about the diversity of the Thoroughbred, and support a great cause, with ‘The Gallopers High Tea’ raising funds for The National Jockeys Trust.

Where: ‘Pavilion’, Mansion Hotel, 170 K Road Werribee When: Sunday 9th of June from 11:00AM to 3:00PM

Enjoy a splendid day of action as Australias leading equestrian competitors tackle a spectacular Cross Country course through the historic grounds of Werribee Park, in an event that is the oldest in the Southern Hemisphere, and in a bid for a spot on the Australian Equestrian Team.

  • Feast on a delightful array of savouries, scones, and petit gateu.

  • Sample T2 Tea’s, Tisanes, Cocktails and Iced Bevvies from T2

  • Sip on Sparkling from Lindenderry Estate.

  • Admission to the Melbourne International 3 Day Event Cross Country

  • Admission to the main event for the evening’s Bareback High Jump Spectacular (knock the jump, and the rider must remove a piece of clothing until we have the last man standing).

  • Afternoon full of entertainment

Dress: Weather appropriate equestrian inspired fashion if you wish to stroll the grounds, or racewear if you plan to stay inside.
